I could go anywhere I could see all the things This world has to give And at the end of it I just wanna come to your place Can I stay here Can I stay here Can I stay here Can I stay She walks on the water He tries not to see Her reflection The glow But him tells him everything She stands in the morning Her gaze far away What I found Do I touch Can I stay Tell me everything I could go anywhere I could see all the things This world has to give And at the end of it I just wanna come to your place She walks on the water He tries not to see Her reflection The glow But him tells him everything She stands in the morning Her gaze far away What I found Do I touch Can I stay Tell me everything Can I stay here Can I stay here Can I stay here Can I stay

Eons Romance 03:38
It's not every day It's not every lifetime Something like this comes along Hold it close Feel it breathe You have each other now. She's come back to you. There could be worse things And better still to come.

So I said Give me your sorrow It is a beauty That I want And though it makes you fail And asks for everything I'll only tend it lovingly oooh oooh ooooh oooh oooh ooooh And with your smile A tender twilight dawn Step in the past With hands to make As we're returning Give me your sorrow There is a beuuty I will make oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh So I said Give me your sorrow I'll only tend it lovingly As we're returning Give me your sorrow There is a beauty I will make

Oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh He was on the right side of a sunny afternoon She was on the back steps With her rhymes You can get back what you lost You made it It’s worth trying for You can get back what you lost Oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh He was making photographs of her His work of art She was focused on the second line You can get back what you lost You made it It’s worth trying for You can get back what you lost Face up to the facts Right there before you You can back what you lost You can get back what you lost It’s worth trying for You can get back what you lost You can get back what you lost It’s worth fighting for You can get back what you lost

She was a siren to be sure Saw it coming And wanted to be first in line A farer through the doubtful warnings Oh you make it so You make it so You make it Every conversation a work of art Won’t hang on a wall So back to the start You like to feel the pull But don’t fire it up Fire it up Don’t fire it up Fire it up He had to find his way in circles The scintillation Called to him so pure and clear And then no ending Only faring O you say where You say where You say Every conversation a work of art Won’t hang on a wall So back to the start You like to feel the pull But don’t fire it up Fire it up Don’t fire it up Fire it up Every conversation a work of art He said what’s the point of all the talking now Siren, scintillation And all these circles She’s going to Fire it up She’s going to Fire it up

I'm just trying you must see To fit the pattern Your routines I'm just trying as I ever do To fall into step Inside out you oh oh oh Watching stitches Shades of green Making time move rhythmically It's been two hours An inch apiece And thank god good love Coming back to me This is the roar of the roller coaster Living breathing I'd rather be riding than us flat-lining This is the heady Fall arrested Sooner or later You come to the rescue You're the rescue Make with mind As with my hands The coffee scene The waterfront Walks along while dreaming of Comfort days with you

Moondaze 03:49
Lost I am for the way it was crossed And the turns so tight Lost you are for you followed me here Under a white moon Dazed by the moon as she tied up her hair Falling You took my hand For to lead us home Counting the steps We take one for one Don’t let me fall from this higher place Or I’ll be searching Take me everywhere I’ll be searching Should you fall in her opening arms May you feel her breathe And all the turns so tight and so crossed With two not lost Found you by white moon her hand in your hair Falling

With a Trice 03:00
Take you in the morning And we’ll waste all afternoon Gonna give in babe And don’t look back The sun comes up You find me Like a photograph you made The last time you were looking there Ohh ohh Gonna take you back Gonna take you back Gonna take you Oh feel the ending as a new beginning Like we do Ohh he will come over With a trice in his hand To give you I’ll be looking out for you In times far up ahead In places as yet out of view And I’ll know where to look you for you A heart can lead a head It was you and I before we knew These times Gonna take you back Gonna take you back Gonna take you Oh feel the ending as a new beginning Like we do Ohh he will come over With a trice in his hand To give you I’ll find you again and again As beginnings and endings come and go Come and go

about

Just so that this doesn’t have to be in non-existent third person, I’m letting you know that Gina is writing this.

This album came about after I practically got down on my knees and begged Mark to send me some tracks to write to. We had been in period of being fallen out for over two years and I frankly wasn’t going to suffer needlessly any more. Mark was the reason I discovered I could not only sing well enough to lead a band but also write songs! We started our music journey five years ago after Mark answered my "singer available" ad in the local classifieds. We had a live-playing four-piece band. And we also had fair a share of tumultuous times. I guess it sometimes it takes a few tries to get to know all that needs to be known about another person. Some people give up without a fight and walk away forever. I was never going to do that. So one morning in midwinter June 2022, I crashed Mark's routine coffee date with his mate and made it known. It didn’t go quite as I'd hoped. But hey, any communication is better than none so at least we were further along. A few more conversations later and we were back in musical partnership.
This is our 5th album in 5 years. Eight songs written and recorded between June 2022 and February 2023. We have begun again. The songs herein are primarily a reflection of the journey and the joy of returning home.

about

Watchglass Sydney, Australia

Watchglass is a Sydney music duo that began in 2017 as a four piece-band. They have over time morphed into a recording duo, creating electro/guitar indie songs of the esoteric vibrational musing variety. We make stories from the little moments about people and dreams, always with a positive spin no matter how desperate. We hope you've found something to connect with and enjoy. ... more
